Two Winners Share EuroMillions Jackpot

Two winning tickets shared the EuroMillions jackpot of £127,675,087 on Friday night, giving each one a current value of £63,837,543. One of the tickets was purchased in Belgium and the other was bought by a player here in the UK, so having a Brit involved makes the news even better for those of us who are biased! The EuroMillions results on Friday 8 June were 05, 11, 22, 34 and 40, and the Lucky Star numbers were 09 and 11.
There were plenty of other winning Brits in the EuroMillions game on Friday, with successful tickets at each of the consolation prize levels. 24 tickets matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win £102,891 each, and 8 of those tickets were purchased here in the UK. There were 38 winning tickets at the third-tier prize level and each of those won £21,661 by matching five main numbers only. There were more than 5.7 million prizes won in total, and that isn’t including the Millionaire Raffle prize of £1,000,000 that was landed by the ticket bearing the number MSH095096.
The UK Lotto game created plenty more winners of its own on Saturday, when three tickets matched the six main numbers to share a jackpot worth £6,308,976. The Lotto results were 05, 14, 24, 26, 37 and 44, and the Bonus Ball was 30. There were 17 winning tickets at the second-tier prize level and each of those won £74,667 by matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. 674 tickets won £1,177 each by matching five main numbers only, and the total number of prizes won was 599,106.
All of that means that we now have two brand new jackpots to play for in the EuroMillions and Lotto games this week. Buy your lottery tickets online and if you don’t win the jackpot of around £12 million in the EuroMillions game on Tuesday you just might win the £2.2 million jackpot in the Lotto game on Wednesday. Good luck!
