Unclaimed prizes are becoming more and more frequent as players are either forgetting to check their tickets or they end up losing them. Currently the list of prizes waiting to be claimed by the various winners is huge and now there are two unclaimed Lotto prizes which are set to expire this month if the winning ticket holders don’t come forward before they expire and are added to the pot that funds Good Causes throughout the UK.
The two prizes which are waiting to be claimed by the winners both expire this month. The prize that expires first is worth £78,657 and was won on the 19th September 2012, Lotto draw number 1747. The winning ticket in this Lotto draw matched five numbers plus the Bonus Ball (to see the Lotto results from this draw click here) to win this prize and all that is known is that the winner purchased their ticket in the City of Westminster. This prize expires on the 18th March 2013, so it is advised that if you purchased a ticket for this draw in this area dig out those old tickets and check them thoroughly.
The other Lotto prize waiting to be claimed this month expires on the 21st March 2013 and is worth £121,629. This ticket matched the five main numbers drawn plus the Bonus Ball on the 22nd September 2012 by a ticket that was purchased in the London Borough of Lambeth.
