Three share Lottery rollover
Last Updated: Tuesday 11th September 2018, 12:44
It was the first lottery rollover for almost two months, meaning lottery players have been starved of big jackpots. All that changed last night with a £7.3 million jackpot up for grabs but in the event there were no massive winners as three players share the lotto jackpot. Each winner collects almost £2.5 million, which isn’t a big rollover, but still a life-changing lottery win.
Merlin was the lottery machine chosen for last night’s National Lottery rollover draw, last seen on September 8th and set of balls number 2 was chosen, seen last on the September 4th draw. The draw went off, as planned without a hitch and the numbers and full winners can be found on our lottery results page.
Over the prize money was well shared out, with the £7.3 million rollover jackpot being shared three ways and fourteen players collecting almost £100,000 for matching five and the bonus. In all £17 million worth of prize money was paid out from the National Lottery last night, after the first rollover for weeks.
If you missed out then don’t worry too much, Wednesday’s National Lottery draw is still worth an estimated £2.4 million and on Friday there’s a Euromillions rollover to look forward to, that lottery draw is worth an estimated £23 million so don’t forget your lottery tickets for that one.
Do check back throughout the week for more lottery news and views and good luck in any draws you are buying lottery tickets for.
