Record Haul on Euromillions Lottery

With no winner for the Euromillions Mega draw, this week’s draw was always going to be an exciting affair. In the event, lottery players across Europe pushed the pot up to £112 million in the scramble for a chance to become a massive Euromillions millionaire.
But it was a record haul for Euromillions Lottery players with UK lottery players coming out on top! Two players matched all five winning numbers and the lucky stars and both of those players are from the UK. That makes the two winners UK record jackpot winners and there is no doubt going to be a lot of interest in them if they choose not to remain anonymous.
It’s not yet know whether the winners are part of a syndicate or individual ticket holders and we’ll have to wait to find out, especially as the results have just broken. Each ticket is worth £56 million however and that story is going to create a frenzy of interest.
The haul didn’t end there either, even players who matched five main balls and the one lucky star became instant millionaires as the second tier prize paid out a record £1.1 million. Four of the twelve players to win the second tier prize were from the UK.
Of course that’s not forgetting the millionaire raffle, the raffle number guarantees a UK millionaire every single week and this week will be no different.
That’s seven UK millionaires created on one single draw, quite amazing considering all things and that’s assuming that the jackpot tickets are held by single ticketholders. If not, it could be even higher!
