Record Euromillions winner comes forward

The winner of the £84 million Euromillions Lottery jackpot has come forward to claim the record UK lottery prize according to officials at the National Lottery. No details have yet been released about the winner but lottery officials have been contacted leaving the winner to come forward to get the winning lottery ticket verified and the new record UK lottery prize paid out to the lucky winner.
It’s not yet even known if the winner is a single lottery player or a lottery syndicate, either way it’s the biggest lottery prize ever to be given away in the UK. If won by a single ticketholder, as opposed to a syndicate then it will smash the current record set by Euromillions winners Nigel Page and Justine Laycock who won £56 million earlier this year.
If the winner chooses publicity then it’s going to be a busy week in the National Lottery offices as the press want details on the winner. We’d just like to send a big congratulations to the lucky Euromillions winner, no doubt there’ll be more about this amazing win later in the week but for now, at least we know, this is one lottery prize that won’t be heading for the unclaimed lottery prizes list.
This week the Euromillions jackpot will be reset and there’ll be an estimated jackpot of £12 million. You can buy lottery tickets now for the draw, which takes place on Friday evening. It’s not quite a record lottery win but hardly a sniff at £12 million.
