Quadruple UK Lotto Jackpot Won by Five Ticket Holders
Last Updated: Monday 10th June 2013, 13:33
Excitement had been brewing all last week amongst players of the UK Lotto, and that excitement peaked on Saturday night as the draw of the first ever quadruple rollover was held in London. Players were in with a chance of winning a jackpot of an estimated £19.6 million if they were able to match all six numbers, which, as well as being the first ever quadruple rollover, was the highest jackpot on the UK Lotto this year. But who were the lucky winners?
This milestone draw was made using Guinevere and set of balls number 5, which was the 28th time this pairing had made an appearance and almost a month to the day since the last time this pair was drawn together. This was clearly a lucky combination this week as it broke the rollover pattern of the last four draws, to see five players match all six numbers.
Those lucky numbers are 1, 6, 7, 8, 25, 42 and 39, and as well as the five jackpot winners who will each take home £3,909,990, there were another 13 players who won an impressive £114, 540 by matching five numbers plus the Bonus ball. A further 811 players matched five numbers to win £1,147, 45,300 matched four to win £45 and a whopping 791,392 players scooped £10 by matching three numbers.A full breakdown can be found on the Results Page.
As of yet, there is no information regarding whether or not the lucky five millionaires have come forward, nor whether those prizes were won by individuals or syndicates, so all players are advised to check their numbers as soon as they can to see if they have won a share of that life changing money. Good luck!
