One Lotto Ticket Scoops £6.9 Million Jackpot

After no players won the Lotto jackpot on Wednesday night many players were crossing their fingers and hoping to strike lucky and win the rollover jackpot on offer in Saturday's draw. This was the case as one Lotto ticket matched the six numbers drawn in the results on Saturday to scoop the £6.9 million jackpot. This was the first win for December 2012 so whoever the lucky holder of this winning ticket is will have definitely been celebrating as they are most likely going to have an unforgettable Christmas.
The Lotto results from Saturday’s draw were 5, 27, 31, 32, 38, 49 and the Bonus Ball was 1. To add to the jackpot winner there were eight ticket holders that matched five numbers along with the Bonus Ball to win the second tier prize which meant each ticket holder won £173,557. In addition there were 407 players that matched five numbers to win £2,132 and then over 461,000 players matched three numbers to win £10.
This was the first Lotto draw for December so it will be interesting to see how many other players will win the Lotto jackpot this month.
