We were surprised at the beginning of this month to see so many lottery prizes expiring this December from both the Lotto and Euromillions, but we do have some news on two of those unclaimed lottery prizes. It’s a bit of good news and some bad as one winner steps forward but the other lottery prize goes to the fund for good causes. What’s more, there’s one more lottery prizes still to expire this month and that happens today if the winner does not come forward before 5pm.
Yesterday, a lottery prize worth £77,120 was claimed. This lottery ticket was purchased in the York area of the UK for the Lotto draw on October 6th, the lottery winner has chosen to remain anonymous but at least he now has his lottery prize.
However, a £54,000 lottery prize has expired this week too. The lottery ticket was purchased in the Borough of St Edmondsbury and expired this week after many appeals for the winner to come forward. The lottery winner’s loss will be a win for good causes as this prize now goes to charity.
The final unclaimed lottery prize we mentioned above is the Euromillions prize expiring today. Despite many appeals, the lottery ticket, worth £267,525 still remains unclaimed and today is the final deadline for the winner to come forward. So if you live or buy lottery tickets in the Islington, City of London area, then before you buy lottery tickets for the Millionaire SuperRaffle this Friday, make sure you check all your old tickets too, as you could miss out on this life-changing prize. This lottery winner only has until 5pm today to come forward!
