Multiple Millionaires Across EuroMillions and Lotto

It proved to be a magical weekend for a number of National Lottery players, as the EuroMillions and Lotto jackpots were both won and another 10 ticket holders were rewarded with £1 million in the Millionaire Maker.
Friday was guaranteed to be a big pay day for UK players, as the National Lottery had organised a special edition of the Millionaire Maker raffle to take place alongside the EuroMillions draw, with ten winning codes selected instead of the usual one.
A jackpot of £47 million was also put up for grabs in the EuroMillions draw. One UK participant matched all the numbers - 12, 14, 21, 45 and 48, plus Lucky Stars 8 and 11 - and so did another ticket holder from Austria. That left both winners with a sum worth £23.6 million (€27.4 million for the Austrian player).

All UK players have 180 days from the date of a draw to come forward and collect prizes, and the jackpot winner has wasted no time in staking a claim, having already contacted the National Lottery over the weekend.
The ticket now just needs to be validated before the winner can be paid out. They will then have to decide whether to go public or stay anonymous.
Speaking about the UK’s sixth EuroMillions jackpot win of the year, the National Lottery’s Senior Winners’ Advisor Andy Carter said: “This is absolutely incredible news and we’re delighted that we’ve received a claim.”
Just 24 hours after the EuroMillions draw, another two UK players became millionaires in Lotto. One ticket holder picked up £1 million after matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball, and someone else went one better as they matched all six main numbers to land a jackpot of £7.4 million.
The winning numbers for Lotto on Saturday 16th September were 7, 17, 22, 24, 31 and 59, with a Bonus Ball of 50. View all the Draw Details.
Lotto draws continue every Wednesday and Saturday evening, while EuroMillions takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays. A EuroMillions Superdraw also looms large on Friday 29th September, when an expanded jackpot worth €130 million (approximately £111 million) will be on offer. Make sure not to miss out on any of the exciting events that are on the way.
