Lucky Lotto Player Bags £10.4 Million in Saturday Night Draw

There were lottery celebrations all round this past weekend: not only did two lucky players split the EuroMillions jackpot between them, but a single UK player managed to snap up the top prize in Lotto, netting themselves just shy of £10.4 million.
Despite making thousands of players richer in every draw, Lotto had been without a jackpot winner for its last three games, its top prize rolling from £2 million to over £10 million in less than two weeks.
But that all changed on Saturday, 26th November when, with the Lotto jackpot standing at a truly life-changing £10,394,608, a single player matched all six main numbers and a brand new UK multi-millionaire was created.
The winning numbers to trundle out of Merlin, one of The National Lottery’s fate-deciding ball machines, were 1, 2, 28, 40, 48, and 49. The Bonus Ball was 17.
As well as the jackpot finally finding its way into someone’s bank account, one other lucky Lotto player picked up £1 million in Lotto Millionaire Raffle, with 20 others winning £20,000 each in the same draw. Thousands of other players also picked up substantial cash prizes on Saturday evening, including four ticket-holders who matched five numbers and the Bonus Ball to take home £21,024 each, and 100 players who scooped £885 per head for matching just the five main numbers. Prizes of £85 and £25 were also in abundance, so, even if you’re sure that you haven’t won a life-changing amount, be sure to run your numbers through the Lotto Checker. You wouldn’t want to accidentally miss out on a smaller cash prize or a free Lucky Dip.
This Wednesday’s jackpot has now been reset to the princely sum of £2 million, but with so much excitement surrounding National Lottery games recently, there’s a possibility that increased ticket sales could push the final jackpot even higher. Good luck!
