Lotto jackpot goes to charity

After several appeals and pleas for the winner to come forward a UK Lotto jackpot goes to charity as the 180 deadline runs out for them to come forward and claim the prize. The jackpot dates back from September last year and was worth a staggering £3.6 million to the winner, however despite several pleas, no winner has been found and as the deadline has now passed the entire jackpot goes to good causes.
The lottery ticket was bought in the Highlands yet despite many calls from both us at National-Lottery.com, the press and the UK Lotto the winner has failed to come forward before the deadline and the entire jackpot, plus any interest it has accrued will now go to lottery good causes.
It’s a shame to see a jackpot as high as £3.6 million go as an unclaimed lottery prize, especially as the jackpot is such a life-changing amount of cash. It isn’t however the only lottery prize sitting unclaimed right now. A UK Lotto prize of £149,559 is due to expire on April 1st, the winner would be a fool to let that amount of cash go. That ticket was sold in County Tyrone for the UK Lotto draw on 3rd October and matched five main balls and the bonus.
Of course if you buy lotto tickets online you don’t have to worry about losing lotto tickets and unclaimed prizes. Your lottery tickets will be stored, safely online and they’ll even send you an email if you’re a lucky winner! It’s the safest way to play the UK Lotto as you know it will never lead to you missing out on a £3.6 million lottery prize.
