Lotto Jackpot Goes Back to Basics
Last Updated: Wednesday 13th June 2012, 15:06
The Lotto jackpot available to win tonight has gone back to basics as four ticket holders in Saturday’s draw matched the six numbers drawn in the Lotto results to split the jackpot that came out at just over £6.5 million. This now means that tonight’s mid-week Lotto jackpot is estimated at £2.2 million, so the question is can any Lotto ticket holders match the six main numbers drawn tonight to win the jackpot, or will it rollover to Saturday’s Lotto draw?
To date this month the Lotto has had four draws and out of those four there have been two jackpot wins. The first win took place on the 7th April when three winning tickets split the top prize that came out at just over £6.3 million. Following this the next win took place on the 14th April when four tickets matched the Lotto results to win £6.5 million.
It is interesting to see that in April last year the Lotto had nine draws across the month and out of the nine draws the jackpot was won five times. Therefore, we shall have to wait and see if April 2012 will have as many Lotto top prize wins as April 2011.
Some of the most popular Lotto numbers to be drawn in the results include 38, 44, 23, 43, 40 and 31. However, the Lotto numbers which are overdue and haven’t been in the Lotto results for a while are 34, 4, 30, 29, 13 and 7.
Whether any of these numbers will be drawn in tonight’s mid-week Lotto draw remains to be seen, but make sure you check the Lotto results soon after the draw takes place later this evening to see if you have won yourself a prize.
