It was a special night for many Lotto fans on Wednesday 19th August as over 190,000 ticket holders snapped up prizes, including one lucky player who matched all six main numbers to pocket £1.2 million and carry on a great summer run of jackpot winners.
The numbers drawn on the evening were 5, 6, 7, 25, 27 and 33 with Bonus Ball 34. The jackpot winner wasn’t the only participant who had reason to celebrate a massive windfall, as another player matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to earn £96,970. The other prizes won were £437 for matching five main numbers, £42 for matching four main numbers and £25 for matching three main numbers, while there were also £20,000 rewards for the 50 winners of the Lotto Raffle. The jackpot was also won on Saturday night, when a single ticket holder walked away with the top prize of £4.3 million.
