A Lotto player scooped the largest prize won on a single ticket in the game’s history on Wednesday 6th April, snapping up £35.1 million by matching all six main numbers. David and Carol Martin of Hawick in the Scottish Borders and an anonymous player who bought their ticket in Worcester shared the previous record, having claimed £33 million each in the draw on Saturday 9th January.
The Lotto results were 15, 17, 31, 41, 50 and 57 with Bonus Ball 5 and other prizes pocketed in the main game ranged from a free Lotto Lucky Dip ticket for matching two main numbers to £1,914 for matching five main numbers. Another ticket holder won £1 million in the top tier of Lotto Millionaire Raffle, with 20 players receiving £20,000 each. Tonight’s win follows a run of 12 rollovers since a single player bagged £6.7 million on Saturday 20th February.
