EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls to £43 Million
Last Updated: Wednesday 13th June 2012, 15:06
The first EuroMillions draw of the week took place last night and the results from this draw show that in fact no players matched the numbers drawn to win the jackpot. This now means that the EuroMillions jackpot has now rolled over four times meaning that it is now estimated at £43 million for Friday’s draw – the highest it’s been since the middle of March when the UK syndicate of bus drivers matched the numbers and scooped the £38 million EuroMillions jackpot.
To date this year the EuroMillions jackpot has been won a total of eight times and five of those wins were all from EuroMillions tickets which were purchased in the UK. These wins now mean that the total number of UK EuroMillions jackpot wins now stands at 33 which accounts for 15.2% of the total jackpot wins since the EuroMillions first launched in 2004.
The UK is currently in fourth place for EuroMillions jackpot wins and in front are Portugal with 42 jackpot wins, Spain with 48 and out in front is France will an impressive 55 jackpot wins. Therefore it will be interesting to see if any UK ticket holders can match the five plus two number combination drawn on Friday night to not only win the EuroMillions jackpot but to increase the total amount of jackpot wins the UK has had.
If winning this EuroMillions top prize appeals to you make sure you have your tickets ready for Friday’s draw and you never know, luck could be on your side and you could match the EuroMillions results and become a EuroMillions jackpot winner.
