Euromillions Jackpot Reaches €100 million

Euromillions players last night let out a big sigh of disappointment as the jackpot rolled over for the eighth time. No ticket holder managed to match all five numbers plus the two Lucky Stars in the 503rd draw last night, Tuesday 17th July 2012, meaning the jackpot will roll over to Friday nights draw, creating an estimated jackpot of €101/£79 million. However, there were plenty of winning tickets in other tiers, with over 2 million players matching two or more numbers to win a prize.
Two lucky players however, scooped the second tier prize by matching five numbers and one star, winning a respectable €699,301 each. These were not UK ticket holders however, so once again, the first and second tier prizes eluded UK players.
The Euromillions numbers drew last night were 2, 7, 24, 43, 46 and the Lucky Stars were 8 and 10, so check your ticket anyway as an impressive 10 players won £33,784 by matching five numbers, and an additional 28 players matched 4 numbers and 1 star to collect £6,032.
This huge jackpot is coupled with the growing excitement of the 100 UK Millionaires Raffle which is due to take place on 27th July 2012 to celebrate the opening of the Olympics.
If you are unsure how to play, you simply buy your Euromillions ticket as normal which has a raffle code on the bottom. If your code matches any of the 100 codes produced from the draw on Friday 27th July, then you could win an instant £1 million. And rest assured you can always buy your tickets for Euromillions up to a month in advance, so you can buy your tickets for this draw anytime from now.
