Euromillions jackpot evades players

For weeks now we’ve been counting down the Euromillions draw until Christmas. After last night’s draw, there’s just next week to go now and then the big Christmas Eve SuperRaffle to look forward to and wasn’t last night’s Euromillions draw an exciting one! With no winner on the previous draw, last night’s Euromillions jackpot was worth an estimated £23 million, but a rush on ticket sales meant that in the event there was £24.1 million up for grabs.
However, the countdown to Christmas with the Euromillions Lottery just got a whole lot more exciting, as no players matched all the winning numbers. This of course means a double rollover next Friday, on the penultimate draw before the big Christmas Eve SuperRaffle!
If you haven’t checked the Euromillions results, then it’s still worth doing so, as there were still plenty of winners in the draw. Just four players matched five main balls and one lucky number, meaning a bit half a million each for the winners and many smaller prizes were paid out too. In fact, over £3.7 million was paid out in lottery prizes from last night’s Euromillions draw, and that doesn’t include the £1 million Millionaire Raffle winner.
