Euromillions Fourth Birthday

Friday 8th February's £95,000,000 special EuroMillions jackpot was not won, so it rolled-down to the match-5 plus-one-star ticket holders, with each winning around £6,462,181. There were 16 winners overall with six winners from the UK.
EuroMillions was four years old on Friday, and to celebrate this milestone it staged a superdraw with a guaranteed jackpot of €130 million (£95 million). Superdraw rules state that if nobody wins the jackpot then it will roll down to the highest prize level that does have winners. On Friday this was the second tier prize level, and as well as the six UK winners there were five winners in France, two in Switzerland and one in each of Austria, Belgium and Portugal.
There nine countries that participate in EuroMillions, so the fact that a top prize was won by at least one person in six of them is nice to note. We congratulate all winners and look forward celebrating the fifth birthday of the lottery in similar style!
