Consecutive numbers create lottery rollover

Last Updated: Wednesday 12th September 2018, 11:10

A run of consecutive lottery numbers may just have sealed the fate of last night’s National Lottery jackpot as the odd numbers meant no one won the jackpot. Yes it’s a UK Lotto rollover on Wednesday evening and after last night’s £4 million lottery jackpot was not won, Wednesday night’s jackpot is an estimated £7 million and that's sure to create a lot of interest in this week's UK Lotto!

It’s little wonder the rollover has happened when you consider just what numbers were randomly drawn. You can check all the numbers on our lottery results page but with a run of the 20’s in 22, 23, 24, 26 and 29 it’s no wonder there were no jackpot winners.

After Euromillions winners week after week and a few weeks since we saw the last National Lottery rollover, it’s a welcome change from the base jackpots week on week. £7 million is an amount to get excited about if you’re a UK Lotto player and there’s sure to be a lot of interest in Wednesday night’s draw.

Especially when you consider that on Friday night, the Euromillions jackpot was won yet again, this time by a ticketholder from Portugal. That lucky lottery player struck lucky at £13 million but it’s been won for several weeks now in a row and that surely makes Wednesdays UK Lotto rollover well overdue.

So don’t forget your lottery tickets, Wednesday night is a £7 million rollover! More news later in the week about the UK Lotto rollover and any millionaires that are created! Good luck!
