This weekend the Australia Saturday Lotto is hosting its seventh Saturday Superdraw of the year with a Division 1 prize worth AUD$22 million.
The last Superdraw was held on Saturday 21st September 2013 and had a Division 1 prize of AUD$21 million. This was shared between 13 players who each successfully matched all six numbers out of the possible 45. Superdraw jackpots tend to vary between AUD$20 million and AUD$30 million and the prize amount is guaranteed once it has been announced, regardless of ticket sales.

In other Australian lottery news, the winner of last Thursday’s AUD$30 million Division 1 Powerball prize has come forward to claim her prize. The woman, who has not been named, bought her ticket from the Innaloo Newsagency in the Westfield Innaloo Shopping Centre, WA, but had been unaware of her big win until today as she had been out of state.
“When I realised I had all the winning numbers and the Powerball I thought I had made a mistake,” the woman told lottery officials upon claiming her prize. “I was fairly calm at the start.”
However, once the reality of her big win sunk in, she started to think about what to do with her new found wealth and confirmed that she plans to help others “less fortunate” by making substantial donations within her community.
If this Innaloo lady’s luck has you dreaming about how you would spend a multi-million dollar lottery win, then the Saturday’s Superdraw will give you the perfect opportunity to follow in her footsteps! Tickets can be purchased online by visiting the Lottery Tickets page. Good luck!
