£3.6 Million Lotto Jackpot Won By Two Tickets

As the Lotto jackpot had been won twice in a row players on Saturday night were hoping that they could match the six main numbers drawn to become the third jackpot winners in a row in this lottery. The results show this was the case as the £3.6 million Lotto jackpot was won by two tickets which means that these two tickets split the top prize and each took home just over £1.8 million.
The Lotto results from Saturday’s draw were 3, 14, 16, 19, 37, 44 and the Bonus Ball was 31. There were just over 528,000 players that won a prize in Saturday’s Lotto draw and the total amount of prizes won in this weekend draw amounted to just over £12 million. There were 531 players that were all one number away from winning the jackpot as all matched five numbers to win £1,338 however six of these winners also matched the Bonus Ball to win the second tier Lotto prize which was worth £187,346 on Saturday night.
The Lotto jackpot has now been won a total of three times in a row so it will be interesting to see if this winning streak will carry on in this lottery or not. Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot is estimated at £2 million however, if you fancy winning a prize before then turn your attention to the EuroMillions as there were no jackpot winners in the Superdraw on Friday night, so the top prize on offer to win in Tuesday's draw now stands at an impressive £94 million – good luck!
