The UK Millionaire Raffle is a free game which all UK players of Euromillions are automatically entered into when they buy a Euromillions ticket. A raffle code is generated for every line of numbers purchased and one code is drawn at random from the entries after each Euromillions draw, making that ticket holder the instant recipient of £1 million. However, the 100 UK Millionaire Raffle was a special version of that game which saw 100 codes picked, making 100 players instant millionaires!
If every single prize is claimed, this draw will officially break the records for a lottery creating the highest number of millionaires in one night. This record is currently held by the 100 UK Millionaire Raffle draw held in July 2012, which saw 97 winners come forward to claim their prize. Can this year's draw break the record?
UPDATE: Just minutes after this news was announced, the £1 million winner from the Borough of Elmbridge came forward to claim their missing million! Could you be holding one of the remaining winning tickets? Check now!
