Get the answers to all your EuroMillions HotPicks questions here and find out more about the game that offers a £1 million top prize to anyone who picks and matches five numbers. These Euro HotPicks FAQs cover all aspects of the game, from the prizes on offer to how it differs from EuroMillions.
How does EuroMillions HotPicks work?
EuroMillions HotPicks offers a fixed prize for picking and matching a certain amount of numbers. For example, pick and match one number to win £10 or pick five numbers and match them all to win £1 million. You only play for the prize related to how many numbers you pick and you must match all of your numbers to win.
That means if you pick five numbers you must match all of them and you do not win for matching four or fewer. You can find a step-by-step guide to EuroMillions HotPicks on the How to Play page.
How do I win a HotPicks prize?
Match all of the numbers you pick to win the advertised prize. You don't win anything for matching just some of your numbers; you have to match them all.
What time is the draw?
There is no specific EuroMillions HotPicks draw. Instead the game uses the winning numbers from the main EuroMillions draw, which takes place at approximately 8.00pm every Tuesday and Friday. You’ll find the winning numbers on the EuroMillions HotPicks Results page shortly after every draw.
Where can I buy tickets?
EuroMillions HotPicks tickets are available online or from any lottery retailer until 7.30pm on the day of each draw. Sales reopen for the following draw after the winning numbers have been confirmed.
How much does it cost to play?
It costs £1.50 per line. The entry cost is the same no matter how many numbers you pick.
What are the odds of winning EuroMillions HotPicks?
The odds depend on how many numbers you decide to pick. The odds range from 1 in 10 for the Pick 1 prize to 1 in 2,118,760 for the Pick 5 prize. Go to the Odds and Prizes page for a rundown of all the odds.
How much is the jackpot worth?
The top prize in EuroMillions HotPicks is set at £1 million, which you win by picking and matching five numbers.
Does the jackpot roll over?
No, the jackpot is £1 million in every draw.
What's the difference between EuroMilllions and HotPicks?
In EuroMillions you pick five numbers and two Lucky Stars and you can win jackpots worth many millions of pounds, in addition to 12 other prizes. In EuroMillions HotPicks you pick between one and five numbers and win a fixed prize if you match all of them. In HotPicks there are no prizes for matching just some of your numbers; you must match all of the numbers you pick to win. That's not the case in EuroMillions, where you can win something for matching two or more of your numbers.
Can I play HotPicks without EuroMillions?
You can play HotPicks without playing EuroMillions. The two games are entirely separate, even though they use the same winning numbers, so you can enter one of the games or both of them.
Do the Lucky Stars matter in EuroMillions HotPicks?
The Lucky Stars do not come into play at all in EuroMillions HotPicks, so you do not choose them when you enter and you cannot use them as winning matches. Only the five main EuroMillions numbers are used.
