Of course the first thing to remember is to buy lottery tickets for the draw after Christmas day, especially if you are giving them as gifts, no one wants a lottery ticket that has already expired.
It’s not just UK Lotto tickets either, Euromillions lottery tickets plus tickets for any of the draws such as Thunderball etc are also ideal gifts. Scratchcards are also a perfect Christmas gift.
It’s also worth remembering that if you buy lottery tickets as Christmas gifts you can spend as much or as little as you like, it’s the thought that counts after all.
Plus if your lucky lottery gift is a winner then there’s also a good chance that the person receiving them is going to share their good fortune with you if they win, although don’t demand it, it could cause problems in your friendship if your mate feels they don’t need to share.
Finally, remember that buying lottery tickets for under 16’s is illegal, even if you are old enough to buy the tickets, you still mustn’t give them to anyone who is underage.
Have yourself a lotto fun this Christmas and who knows, it could be you! Or one of your friends if you buy lottery tickets as Christmas gifts.
