UK Lotto Jackpot Estimated at £6.5 Million

Last Updated: Friday 18th November 2011, 10:09

No players in the mid-week National Lottery draw last night managed to match the winning numbers in order to win the £2.1 million jackpot that was available. Therefore the UK Lotto jackpot is now estimated to be worth £6.5 million for the next draw that will happen on Saturday 8th October. In the UK National Lottery there sometimes are more winner on a Saturday night's draw than a Wednesday and this was apparent in the lottery draw last night.

As no players did win the jackpot on offer, just over three hundred thousand players walked away with the smallest available prize of £10.00. In addition to that 257 UK Lotto players won £1,607 and four players matched five numbers and the Bonus Ball correctly to scoop the tidy amount of £165,286.

Players in this UK Lotto draw last night failed to be as lucky as the winning ticket holders who won the jackpot of £6,873,588 in last Saturday night’s draw. This jackpot was in facct won by a signdicate of players, all of whom work together. These players have come forward to claim their jackpot winnings, with players taking away over £430,000 each.

With these players already winning the jackpot on the first day of October, only time will tell if this month will grow into a lucky few weeks for UK Lotto players. It is always best to check the UK Lotto results though as you never know when you might strike lucky and win a prize.
