UK Euromillions winner celebrates

In the event it was two winners who shared the jackpot, with each ticket worth £56.5 million. Originally an error on the National Lottery website led to belief that both winners were from the UK but actually the jackpot was shared by one Spanish lottery player and one UK winner.
This winning Euromillions lotto ticket was held by a quiet, unassuming couple, Nigel Page and Justine Laycock who hail from the West country who gathered – with many press – at a Bath hotel today to collect their cheque. At £56.5 million this makes the couple the biggest ever UK lottery winners, far exceeding the £45 million scooped by Les Scadding and his wife late last year.
Details of the Spanish winner have not yet been released and quite possibly won’t be, especially if they have opted for anonymity. That just leaves us to say congratulations to both winners of the £113 mega rollover and happy spending.
Nigel Page and his wife can now celebrating shooting up the times rich list, a lottery win making them one of the richest couples in the UK!
This Friday the Euromillions Lottery jackpot will be reset back to it’s base jackpot, making it worth an estimated £13 million. Good luck!
