Third Wednesday Lottery rollover

The machine used for last night’s UK Lotto draw was Merlin, the same one as last weekend’s £7 million lottery rollover draw and it was set of balls number 7 used for the draw, a set that hasn’t been seen since 26th June.
The combination didn’t bring UK Lottery players much luck though as not one player matched all six winning numbers to scoop the jackpot. Three lucky lottery players matched five winning numbers and the bonus ball and each of those players will collect £276,192 from their winning lottery tickets.
In total there was almost £5 million paid out in National Lottery prize money for the draw, despite the £2.6 million jackpot rolling over until Saturday. That does mean that lottery players have a lot to play for this weekend, Friday’s Euromillions jackpot is an estimated £34 million and then with £7 million available on Saturday with the UK Lotto draw, that’s over £40 million in prize money!
Good luck all those buying tickets, check back for all the lottery news and results at the weekend!
