Sunday Mirror prints wrong lottery numbers

As a popular lottery portal we feel that it is our responsibility to ensure that we bring you the most current and up to date news and lottery results. Mistakes do happen but thankfully they are very rare and that’s why we quickly picked up on an error in last week’s Sunday Mirror where the wrong lottery numbers were printed for the UK Lottery draw held on last weeks Saturday evening.
It’s taken a while for the error to come to light but it did lead to the Sunday Mirror issuing an apology for the wrong lottery results and hope there weren’t any disappointed would-be winners. The lottery results for the draw were 16 – 22 – 24 – 30 – 39 and 44, however the Sunday Mirror printed the numbers – for the draw held on Saturday 13th February as 14 being the first ball. In their credit they did get the other five numbers correct, small comfort for anyone with a ‘winning’ lottery ticket with the number 14.
I guess this could be considered quite a lotto balls-up for the paper and highlights why it is best to check your lotto tickets at a lottery portal such as this one.
No one has come forward as yet to complain about a wrong result, although the winner would still be sitting pretty with the five winning balls.
When checking your lottery results, ensure you check our lottery results page and you can rest assured in the knowledge that our information, and news is current, up to date and correct.
