Spain takes the Euromillions jackpot

Last Updated: Wednesday 5th January 2011, 11:09

It was an exciting weekend for British Lottery players, a Euromillions rollover on Friday evening and then a triple rollover Lotto draw on Saturday. However, it was Spain celebrating this week as one Spanish lottery player walked away with the entire Euromillions jackpot, a massive €29 million. UK players have fared very well in the Euromillions of late but this week it just wasn’t to be, but many congratulations to the single Spanish Lottery player who will no doubt now be celebrating.

The biggest UK winner would have been the Millionaire Raffle winner, walking away with £1 million, plus the single UK player who matched five balls and one lucky star and won almost half a million!

This Friday, UK Euromillions players have lots to look forward to. Not only is there a massive £12 million jackpot up for grabs, but as it’s the first birthday of the Millionaire Raffle, there’s a SuperRaffle up for grabs. We brought you the story before the weekend, but now we’re into the time to buy lottery tickets for the SuperRaffle draw this Friday.

Ten UK Millionaire Raffles are to be created by the Euromillions draw this Friday, so even if the Euromillions jackpot doesn’t go to a UK lottery player, ten UK millionaires are guaranteed. This is one lottery draw that is not to be missed, buy Euromillions lottery tickets online now for your chance to be one of ten guaranteed millionaires on the Millionaire Raffle birthday SuperRaffle this Friday evening!
