The People’s postcode lottery is hugely popular and one lucky family are about to return from their summer holiday to find themselves £25,000 richer in the lottery. Gary and Helen Miller from Wearside have scooped this month’s Big Street Prize in the People’s Postcode Lottery and are now £25,000 richer.
The couple are away on their summer break in Spain right now with their two sons but have been told of their good fortune over the phone. Helen Miller now declares it’s party time when they return from their break and quite understandably can’t wait to return to celebrate.
Not able to contact the lucky couple the People’s postcode Lottery street prize presenter turned up at the home of Gary Miller’s auntie Margaret who is house sitting while the couple are away, with a film crew in tow they caught the reaction of the lady who at first had no idea what it was all about.
The People’s postcode lottery has given more than £2 million to good causes just in their area alone and with £25,000 to be won every week it’s clear to see why the lottery is growing in popularity.
