It’s been an exciting weekend all round for big Lotto jackpots. On Friday night the Euromillions jackpot may have gone to Spain but last night one player won the Lotto rollover, and that jackpot definitely stays in the UK. On Wednesday night no one matched all the winning numbers on the Lotto, creating a £7.2 million rollover on last night’s draw, in which just one player matched all the winning numbers, scooping the entire jackpot.
Last night’s Lotto draw went off without a hitch. Arthur was chosen as the machine for the draw, last seen on May 4th. It was set of balls Number 4 that proved lucky for the jackpot winner, and that hasn’t been seen since February 2nd.
All in all, over £16 million was paid out in prizes in last night’s draw, with over half a million winners in total. The jackpot reached £7,227,108 and that was scooped by a single player, but another fourteen players will be celebrating today after matching the second tier prize. Each of those players will collect £99,211 and there were lots of smaller winners besides, making up the £16 million in prize money.
If you haven’t checked the Lotto results then do so now, as you may have won a big prize. If you weren’t so lucky then don’t worry, on Tuesday the Euromillions Lottery jackpot is worth a massive £13 million and then on Wednesday it’s the midweek Lotto! There’s plenty for lottery players to get their hands on this week, so if you’re buying lottery tickets make sure you check back for all the news and results!
