Low Lotto Sales After Civil Unrest

With a jackpot of just over £1.8 million, and three jackpot winners, that does mean that there were no millionaires created. That doesn’t mean there weren’t life changing amounts of cash won, each jackpot winner collects over £600,000 and there were lots more winners besides.
As just three players also matched the 5+1 prize, it meant prize winners for the second tier picked up a larger than average £188,538, add this to the smaller tier prizes and over £7.1 million was paid out in last night’s UK Lotto draw to 382,067 winners around the UK.
Hopefully now the streets of the UK are settling back down to normal, and everyone seems to have the kettle on, maybe sales will be a little more brisk at the weekend. Tomorrow there’s a Euromillions triple rollover jackpot up for grabs, estimated at £40 million and then on Saturday evening, it’s the UK Lotto and that jackpot should get a little closer to the estimated £4.4 million!
