Last Updated: Tuesday 3rd July 2018, 12:06
Normally when people win a prize in the lottery they usually come forward and claim their prize as soon as they find out there a winner. However, for a variety of different reasons some lottery winners fail to come forward to claim their prize. This is now the case in the Lotto as this week there is a Lotto unclaimed prize about to expire if the winner doesn’t come forward. Whether they have lost their winning ticket or simply misplaced it remains to be seen but it will be interesting to see if they come forward.
This unclaimed prize is worth £105,364 and was won six months ago on the 18th April 2012, which was draw number 1703. The area in which the ticket was purchased was the Canvey Island & Basildon area and the winning numbers in this draw were 7, 8, 16, 22, 24, 28 and the Bonus Ball was 48.
The winner of this £105,364 Lotto prize has until the 15th October, which is exactly a week until this prize expires. After this time this Lotto prize won’t be valid anymore and will just be added to the pot that goes to Good Causes such as Sports, Arts, Youth and Culture.
Although this unclaimed prize isn’t as big as a Lotto jackpot it is a still a tidy amount of money to win therefore it is advised that all players check their old tickets now because you never know you could be the winner of this prize.
