Lottery rollovers are contagious

It’s the first Lotto rollover since Wednesday 11th May when the midweek Lotto rolled creating a £7.2 million jackpot for the weekend. Just one player scooped that jackpot, but we haven’t seen another rollover for over a month!
All that changed though in last night’s Lotto draw because no one matched all six winning Lotto numbers and so the jackpot rolled. Guinevere was chosen as the Lotto machine for the draw, last seen on Saturday and it was set of balls number 2 used to draw the winning Lotto numbers.
As we know, the jackpot, worth £2.4 million rolled over, but there was still almost £5 million paid out in prize money to lower tier winners. Just two players matched the five and the bonus prize, and that means they collect a massive £376,000 and even just the five main balls paid a generous £2,816!
This weekend lottery players in the UK have lots to look forward to. On Friday night, the £80 million Euromillions jackpot goes up for grabs, and now there’s a rollover on the Lotto on Saturday too! Don’t forget to check back to read all the news and check your lottery tickets against the winning numbers to see if you’re one of the big winners.
