Join the EuroMillions Rich List!

The odds of winning the EuroMillions lottery jackpot are 1 in 76,275,360, but when the potential payoff is a cool £110,000,000 we think it’s great value for money. Think of it this way – even if you had to share the jackpot with four other winners, you’d each be £22 million richer this time next week!
Of course, all lottery players would prefer to win the EuroMillions jackpot outright, and if anyone managed to do this they would instantly join the EuroMillions rich list. Previous winners who are already on this exclusive list include the biggest individual EuroMillions winner Delores McNamara (who won £77 million in July 2005) and the biggest UK winner Angela Kelly (who won £35.4 million in August 2007).
It stands to reason that we can’t all win the jackpot, but the great thing about EuroMillions is that there are eleven other prize levels for us to have a stab at. Last Friday 1 May, 2009, sixteen players managed to match five main numbers and just one of the Lucky Star numbers to win a second prize of just over £280,000 each. That’s not enough to buy yourself a private plane, but it’s certainly enough for a few decent shopping trips and a very nice consolation prize for getting most but not all of the required lottery results!
Those of you who buy lottery tickets online will fare a lot better than those who are still visiting traditional retail outlets because demand for EuroMillions tickets this week are expected to be massive. Let’s just hope that the retailers are prepared for the rush!
If you like the idea of joining the EuroMillions rich list then buying a ticket or two for this Friday’s draw is a real no-brainer. We wish you the best of luck, and be sure to let us know if you’re the lucky jackpot winner!
