Get Ready For Biggest EuroMillions Superdraw Ever

A EuroMillions Superdraw on Friday 1st December will offer a jackpot worth an estimated £165 million, setting up the prospect of one of the biggest wins in history before the end of the year.
Superdraws only take place a few times a year, with the jackpot bumped up to a guaranteed amount regardless of what has happened in the preceding draw. If the grand prize is won on the Tuesday beforehand, for example, or if it is considerably lower, the jackpot is still increased to the advertised figure.
The standard value of a Superdraw jackpot has been €130 million for the past few years. This amount is set in euros - as that is the currency of seven of the nine participating countries - and is then converted into pounds on the day of the draw based on the exchange rate at the time.
However, for the upcoming Super Jackpot event, the top prize has been set even higher at €200 million (approximately £165 million), effectively making it the biggest Superdraw of all time.
If nobody matches all the numbers on the night, the jackpot will roll over and an even larger amount will be up for grabs in the following draw.
EuroMillions has a jackpot cap of €240 million, so it might only take a couple of rollovers to reach this limit. If this happens, it would be the biggest EuroMillions jackpot ever, eclipsing the €230 million (£195.7 million) record that went to an anonymous UK player in July 2022.
The jackpot can only stay at its cap for a maximum of five draws before it must be won. If there are still no tickets that match all the numbers in that fifth draw at €240 million, the money will be shared by everyone in the prize tier below. The jackpot limit will then subsequently be raised to €250 million.
Of course, the jackpot could be won on Friday night. The last two Superdraws have both had winners at the first time of asking. A French player landed a prize worth £112 million in the most recent big event on 29th September, after a UK winner of £111 million on 2nd June.
