French EuroMillions Player Wins £35 Million Jackpot

A French EuroMillions player pocketed the £35 million jackpot in the draw on Tuesday 8th November, the third top prize winner in five draws. Players hit blistering form during October, with a Belgian scooping £153.3 million on Tuesday 11th, before another of their compatriots and a Portuguese player grabbed £44.7 million and £15.6 million respectively later in the month. November seems to be continuing the winning theme after Tuesday’s success.
The EuroMillions numbers were 5, 9, 47, 49 and 50 with Lucky Stars 8 and 9 and the top UK payout in the main draw was £40,037 for matching five main numbers. There were two UK winners of £1 million in Millionaire Maker too and you can see the winning codes and the full prize breakdown at the EuroMillions Results page.
France now has a clear gap at the top of the EuroMillions rankings, having created 81 jackpot winners since the game began in 2004. Spain trails on 78, with the UK third, having seen 63 of its residents match five main balls and two Lucky Stars over the past 12 years.
There is a £15 million jackpot on offer this Friday when, once again, two more millionaires are guaranteed to be created in the UK’s supplementary raffle game. You could forget the post-Trump uncertainty in the markets by grabbing a life-changing prize before the weekend and you can play EuroMillions online or buy tickets from authorised retailers in any of the nine participating countries.
