First EuroMillions Superdraw of 2016 Offers £112 Million Jackpot
Last Updated: Friday 30th September 2016, 11:53
Tonight’s EuroMillions Superdraw is worth an estimated £112 million (guaranteed €130 million) and follows on after the success of Tuesday’s Mega Week draw. This evening, ticket holders in all nine participating countries will be playing for a massive nine-figure sum, the largest prize seen on the game since January.
There hasn’t been a Superdraw in almost a year, with the last one taking place on 6th November 2015. The €100 million (£71.3 million) jackpot offered that evening rolled over, and eventually reached the value of €163.5 million (€114.8 million) when it was won on Friday 20th November by a player from Portugal.
If a single UK player won the entire jackpot tonight, they might be just a million shy of the £113,019,926 won by a player in October 2010, but they would just slightly edge them out in Euro. There have already been eight UK EuroMillions winners in 2016, the largest of which was worth £61.1 million and was won by the Davies family syndicate from Wales in July. More recently, an anonymous ticket holder won £34 million on Friday 16th September. A ninth win tonight would vastly surpass all of the jackpots won in the UK this year!
With £112 million or so in your bank account, you could start living your life exactly as you’ve always wanted. Packing in your day job would certainly be a possibility, but you could also start your own business, found a charitable organisation for an issue close to your heart, or take up volunteering in between round-the-world trips or excursions on your new yacht.
All it takes for the chance to change your life is a EuroMillions ticket - if you haven’t bought entries for tonight’s draw yet, you can purchase your own tickets online, join a syndicate or visit a local authorised retailer in your area. Don’t forget that sales for tonight’s draw stop at 7.30pm BST - you wouldn’t want to miss out on one of the biggest draws of the year!
