A single father from Bury is looking forward to finally being able to purchase his dream car after winning a huge EuroMillions prize, although he will first have to pass his driving test. Andrew Nabb, 33, is also hopeful that he can scoop another big prize and has no plans to stop playing the lottery.
The lucky player landed £247,513 in the EuroMillions draw on Friday 2nd February after buying a Lucky Dip ticket and matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star. He has hailed the success as the best day of his life, following the birth of his children, and says that he ‘didn’t know whether to scream with excitement or burst into tears’ when he found out.
Andrew, who works as a steel fitter, is delighted that he will now be able to provide his kids with the perfect home to grow up in, and hopes to take his two sons and daughter on holiday to Tenerife. Having always wondered whether he would get a car of his own, Andrew is also very excited to be able to pursue one of his passions.
He said: “I’ve already passed my driving theory test and I’ve been saving up to pay for my driving lessons. Now with this win, I’ll finally be able to get behind the wheel of a car. And then hopefully buy my dream car, an Audi A3.” Andrew will continue to buy lottery tickets, as he does not see why history cannot repeat itself. He added: “I’ve won, I can win again. Lightning can strike twice.”
If you want to play for tonight’s £39 million EuroMillions jackpot, or tomorrow’s £12 million Lotto top prize, you could use one of the National Lottery Number Generators to randomly select a line in an instant. Tickets can be bought online or from authorised retailers, and it could just be that some of Andrew’s luck rubs off on you!
