EuroMillions Superdraw Due to Take Place on Friday
Last Updated: Monday 23rd November 2015, 16:45
The second EuroMillions Superdraw of the year is set to take place on Friday and will offer players a guaranteed jackpot of £80 million (€100 million)*. The special draw is the 16th of its kind since they were introduced to the game in 2007.
EuroMillions Superdraws operate under the same rules as regular draws with the exception of offering a supersized jackpot. If the top prize is not won on Friday, the jackpot will continue to roll over until it is won and increase in value with each draw.
The last EuroMillions Superdraw was held on Friday 7th March but the jackpot was not won until the following week when British car mechanic Neil Trotter scooped the entire £107 million top prize. Trotter came forward with his win almost immediately and accepted his prize publicly in a press conference held just days after the big draw took place.
41-year-old Trotter revealed that his plans for the money included buying a house big enough to accommodate a fleet of luxury cars.
If you’d like to participate in Friday’s big draw, tickets can be purchased online by following the Lottery Tickets tab or in person from an authorised retailer. If you can’t wait until Friday, the next EuroMillions draw takes place tomorrow night and offers a multiple rollover jackpot of £71 million (€87 million).
*The EuroMillions Superdraw offers a guaranteed jackpot of €100 million which is equal to approximately £80 million depending on the exchange rate.
