Euromillions Rolls for the Eighth Time

Last Updated: Saturday 22nd October 2011, 20:58

Last night saw the Euromillions jackpot roll for an eighth time as yet another draw failed to produce the winning numbers for a single winner. As players across Europe hoped that the draw machine selected their numbers over 4 million players managed to re-coup a little of the money they had spent on their Euromillions tickets, nearly double the amount of winners found in Tuesday’s draw.

The jackpot was estimated to be £77 million for last night’s draw but it exceeded this by £2 million, producing a total jackpot of £78,976,312. The estimated jackpot for Tuesday 30th August is a whopping £86 million!

The Euromillions results for draw number 410 saw 12, 22, 25, 33 and 45 as the main balls with the Lucky Stars 5 and 7. Whilst nobody managed to match these sixteen players fell short by 1 Lucky Star and will be waking up this morning to find themselves £80,505 richer. Funnily enough the two Lucky stars that appeared in last night’s draw are the joint second most common drawn pair since the introduction of the two new Lucky Stars (10 and 11) in May of this year. Prior to the changes Lucky Star number 7 was the second most often picked Lucky Star coming out an impressive 90 times since the game began whilst number 5 as a Lucky Star was considered the most “overdue”.

All eyes now turn to Tuesday’s draw and the estimated £86 million jackpot amount, will it roll again or is a Euromillions winner buying their ticket right now?
