Euromillions results and a Mega Jackpot

It’s time for the Friday night Euromillions results and it doesn’t fare well for UK Lottery players. For months now, UK lottery players have had astounding luck on the European lottery but if that was fading away over recent weeks then tonight it came to an abrupt end. UK lottery players came out of the draw abysmally with just over £2 million of the prize money, plus the Millionaire Raffle but there is some good news, on October 1st there’s a planned Euromillions Mega Jackpot!

This week the Euromillions jackpot reached £12.4 million and was won by a single lottery player. It’s not yet known which of the eight remaining European countries the player is from, that news may come out in the next few days but it wasn’t a UK winner and the nation didn’t fare well on lower division prizes either.

Of the six lucky lottery players to match 5 and a lucky star, not one was from the UK, although many UK lottery players matched the five main balls. In all £2.5 million of the prize fund went to the UK, plus the £1 million Millionaire Raffle winner.

As mentioned above, there’s also a planned Mega Jackpot coming up for the Euromillions Lottery. On Friday 1st October, Euromillions players can buy lottery tickets for a guaranteed £85 million prize. There’s been a bit of a drought on rollovers lately, maybe this is just what’s needed to fire up the Euromillions Lottery again!
