Euromillions changes come very soon
Last Updated: Tuesday 31st May 2011, 15:00
If you buy lottery tickets for weeks in advance, then you will probably have noticed that the amount in advance you can buy Euromillions tickets for is just two weeks. This has been reducing as the new Tuesday draw gets closer as one draw has to end before the new rules will come into play. Once tickets go on sale on May 7th for the new Tuesday draw, you will again be able to buy lottery tickets for the Euromillions draw for up to four weeks (8 draws) in advance.
If you haven’t yet caught up with details of the rule change, then the Tuesday Euromillions draw is not a one-off. When tickets go on sale on May 7th, the Euromillions becomes a twice-weekly lottery and that’s not the only thing that is changing. More lucky stars and another prize tier to the Euromillions is to make sure there are even more Euromillions rollovers, but with more chances to win every draw!
Before the changes of course, Friday's Euromillions is a £39 million rollover!
