Easy to see why players opt for Euromillions

Last Updated: Friday 4th June 2010, 13:11

With UK Lotto jackpots falling to an all time low it’s easy to see why lottery players are opting for the Euromillions lottery instead. This weekend there’s an estimated £40 million up for grabs in the Euromillions Lottery while winners of the midweek UK Lotto scraped a half a million due to four winners sharing a jackpot that was only a little over £2 million.

It’s clear to see that as the National Lottery approaches its fifteenth birthday it appears to have lost some of its magical glow. Jackpots are at an all time low, although players are still playing and winning the lottery it now takes rollovers to push the jackpots up to newsworthy events.

Wednesday night’s Lottery winners must have had a real shock to discover their six winning numbers were worth just a little over £500,000.

Of course this may be due to many players opting for the Euromillions Lottery, it offers jackpots like never seen before such as the double rollover this weekend which is worth an estimated £40 million.

They tell us pretty soon we are to have a Global Lottery draw and one can only wonder what such a massive lottery draw can further do to sales of our home-grown lotteries.

For now though, the biggest lottery jackpot for UK Lottery players is the Euromillions lottery to be drawn this evening, with the estimated double rollover jackpot up to an estimated £40 million it’s easy to see why so many players will be buying what they hope will be their ticket to multi-millionairedom.
