Double Rollover for UK Lotto Jackpot

Saturday night’s UK Lotto results once again produced consecutive numbers, the second draw in a row to do so which might be why there were no winners found for the jackpot of £7,140,945. Although not one of the most common set of consecutive triplets drawn in the UK Lotto, 47, 48 and 49 did help find five winners of the second prize tier for the UK Lotto who each took home an impressive £306,327. 

The estimated double rollover jackpot for the next UK Lotto draw is £10 million, an amount last reached with a Superdraw on 5th November 2011.

Two consecutive draws for the UK Lotto have now produced sets of consecutive numbers; we saw 23, 24, 25 and 26 drawn in descending order from Merlin using set of balls number seven on Wednesday – the numbers came out as 30, 26, 25, 24, 23 and 13. However for Saturday the consecutive numbers weren’t draw together; they were drawn as 49, 1, 35, 48, 47 and 30 from Merlin again but using set of balls number eight. Looking back we have seen Merlin as the ball machine for the last four draws with ball sets five, six, seven and eight – another set of consecutive numbers. Coincidence or is there something in it?

When it comes to double rollovers for the UK Lotto we last saw one back in October and this actually rolled for a third time to reach and impressive £14,663,305 which was shared by five winners on 15th October 2011.
