A double rollover in last night’s UK Lotto draw, pushes Wednesday’s midweek jackpot up to £10 million. Last Wednesday no one matched all the winning numbers in the UK Lotto draw, and then last night the same thing happened, and that means that next Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot is a massive £10.4 million! There was still over £10 million in prizes paid out in last night’s draw, despite the jackpot rolling over, so do check the Lotto results to find out if you were a winner!
Guinevere was the Lotto machine used in both last night’s and last Wednesday’s Lotto draw, while it was set of balls number 7 that proved unlucky for jackpot chasers last night. Ticket sales for the rollover draw were not as brisk as expected and the jackpot total came in at £6.7 million; lower than the expected £7.2 million.
The biggest winners in the draw matched five main balls and the bonus ball, 17 in total, each collecting £80,297. In total just under £10 million was paid out to players with winning lottery tickets, with the £6.7 million rolling over to Wednesday’s draw.
It does mean that Wednesday’s Lotto draw is likely to be over £10 million, as players in the UK buy extra lottery tickets for the chance to become the next big lottery rollover winner. If you do buy tickets, make sure you come back and check the lottery results and keep those lottery tickets in a safe place!
