Consecutive Trio Helps Land Lotto Jackpot

There were 155 tickets that fell one main number short of winning a share of the Lotto jackpot on Saturday. One of those tickets also matched the Bonus Ball number to win a second tier prize worth £455,791, whilst all of the others had to settle for a third tier prize of £2,512 each. More than 223,000 prizes were won overall, and the Lotto Raffle game helped another 50 players to win £20,000 each.
The Health Lottery game on Saturday didn’t help anyone to win a top prize of £100,000, but it did pay consolation prizes to the owners of over 11,000 tickets. Ten players won Hot Ticket prizes worth anything from £2,000 to £10,000 each, and that brought the promotion to its scheduled conclusion. A new special deal will award a free Quick Pick ticket to anyone who matches two balls in the games taking place between now and Saturday 1 March.
All of that Saturday lottery action took place just one day after a single French ticket won a jackpot worth £59,249,234 in the EuroMillions game. The EuroMillions results for Friday 31 January were 08, 10, 15, 16 and 31, with the numbers 08 and 09 serving as the Lucky Stars. In addition to the single jackpot prize that was landed in France, more than 3.1 million consolation prizes were won. Two of those prizes were worth £666,220, and went to players – both of whom had bought their tickets in the UK – who matched all five main numbers and one of the Lucky Stars. Another UK player won £1,000,000 by matching the Millionaire Raffle number QVG418871.
Lottery players can now look forward to playing for brand new jackpots in the days ahead. Visit our Lottery Tickets page to play online and if you don’t win the £12 million jackpot in the EuroMillions game on Tuesday you could still win a £2.2 million Lotto jackpot on Wednesday. Good luck!
