Another Rollover for the EuroMillions

Last Updated: Tuesday 21st February 2012, 12:52

The first draw of this year took place last night in the EuroMillions and there was a jackpot of just over £50 million available to win. Many players were hoping to win big last night however no ticket holders managed to match all of the numbers drawn to take home the jackpot, therefore is it yet again another rollover for the EuroMillions. This is now the fifth time the top prize has rolled over, meaning that there hasn’t been a jackpot winner since the middle of December.

If you haven’t seen this already the EuroMillions results from last night were 3, 30, 42, 45, 49 and the Lucky Stars were 5 and 10. Just looking at these numbers drawn it is no surprise that no one matched them as the majority of them are positioned towards the higher end of the scale.

Out of the numbers drawn last night both of the Lucky Stars, which were 5 and 10, revealed some interesting facts. The number five is one of the more popular Stars to be drawn and last night it made its 106th appearance. However, opposite to that the Lucky Star number 10 is amongst the least often picked out Stars having been in the results just 12 times.

As this pan-European lottery rolled over again it means that now the jackpot available to win in the next EuroMillions draw, which will take place on Friday, is estimated at £60 million. Therefore, if you want to win this life-changing amount then make sure you have your tickets ready for this Friday night draw and you never know you might just match the EuroMillions results and become the first jackpot winner of 2012.
