A weekend Lotto rollover

Over the whole of Christmas and the New Year, the excitement was never ending from the UK Lotto and the Euromillions Lottery. Well the festive cheer may have died away but that doesn’t mean the excitement is over, there’s still a Lotto excitement this week with a weekend Lotto rollover for Saturday evening. UK players certainly didn’t have much luck on Wednesday’s Lotto draw, but those who did walked away with a surprising amount of cash.
With no one winning the jackpot, tomorrow’s Lotto rollover is worth an estimated £7.4 million but even lower division winners in Wednesday’s draw didn’t fare so well. Just two players matched five and the bonus, each collecting close on half a million, the most we’ve ever seen for five numbers! Of course there were plenty of winners from all other divisions, but not nearly as many as usual, with even match 4 paying out over £100.
In all there was almost £5 million paid out in prize money from lottery tickets on Wednesday evening, with the entire jackpot rolling over to the weekend. If you haven’t checked the midweek lottery results then you really should do so, before you buy lottery tickets for this weekend’s draw.
In other news, before the Lotto rollover tomorrow evening is tonight’s Euromillions Lottery draw. The estimated jackpot is £12 million and you can buy lottery tickets for that draw right now.
