£95 Millions EuroMillions Jackpot on Offer Tonight
Last Updated: Wednesday 13th August 2014, 16:11
The last EuroMillions jackpot to be won was claimed by one mystery UK resident who matched all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars in the draw held on Friday 2nd March. The lucky player won the entire top prize worth £73.2 million but declined to be named.
If another UK player scoops tonight’s top prize, they will be the third UK player this year to win a EuroMillions jackpot. The first UK win belonged to British mechanic Neil Trotter who claimed the largest EuroMillions prize awarded to a single ticket so far in 2014 when he won the entire £107 million jackpot on Friday 14th March.
Trotter chose to come forward to claim his win and spoke about his plans for the money in a press conference held on Wednesday 18th March, just four days after the draw took place. Trotter, joined by his long term girlfriend Nicki Ottoway, revealed they planned to buy a new house with a drive large enough to accommodate a fleet of luxury cars.
In addition to the supersized top prize on offer tonight, one UK player will win a guaranteed £1 million prize in the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle. For every line of numbers purchased for the main EuroMillions game, UK players receive one free entry into the Millionaire Raffle.
With such a large jackpot at stake, participation in tonight’s draw will sky rocket so players are advised to purchase their tickets in plenty of time to avoid any last minute queues. To avoid the queues altogether, tickets can be purchased online via the Lottery Tickets tab.
